• Dale made this incredible indian paint rock sphere.
• This indian paint rock sphere has very artistic and elegant patterns and, regardless of tha name may imply, nobody painted on this sphere. It is all natrural petrified clay and the colors are mainly due to hematite content and the dendrites due to manganese.
• Indian paint rock comes from Death Valley, California. This location has been closed to collecting since Death Valley became a National Park and the material is getting very scarce. We were fortunate to acquire some rough material from old rockhounds.
• Indian paint rock does not polish. It gets a wonderful mat finish but the hematite lines shine very nicely.
• This indian paint rock sphere is rare and a great collector's item.
