• Here's a rare collector's sphere. It is indigo blue covellite (copper sulfide) with a beautiful metallic luster.
• This sphere was made in Peru but Dale re-worked it to remove the usual lumps and polish it.
• There is some pyrite, some roughness at a few sections due to various inclusions, and healed fractures very common in metals, and apparently, more so in covellite.
• According to my reference , and in additon to various other metaphysical and healing properties, covellite "enhances ones communication skills and stimulates a positive outlook...".
