• This is a beautiful sphere made of the rare material olivine.
• Olivine (peridot) is trapped inside an interesting magnetic metal web (possibly magnetite). This material is rare and we have not been able to buy any rough for several years.
• This material is totaly exotic and it looks like meteorite but I do not think it is.
• Dale made the sphere and he did a great job. The workmanship is outstanding and the sphere has a greatpolish.
• The photos were taken outdoors in sunlight and color variations are possible. I indluded a photo of a thin slab with the light behind it to show how translucent this material is; the slab is not part of this listing.
• According to my reference, and in addition to many other metaphysical and healing properties, olivine "...helps to heal a "bruised" ego by assisting one in the lessening of anger or jealousy, inspiring happiness..."
