This is an exquisite charoite sphere from Siberia, Russia. The workmanship of this charoite sphere is excellent.
This charoite sphere has a wonderful purple color and inclusions of beautiful tinaksite (orange).
Charoite is scarce because it is not mined anymore. I believe the mine is deplete or not economical to keep it operating. Therefore, charoite one finds in the market these days may be dyed or full of inclusions of other minerals.
This is a genuine charoite sphere full of silky purple color and it is a rare collectors' item.
