Dale, the spheremaker, made this wonderful Tiffany Stone (Bertrandite) sphere and he did an outstanding job.
The material is of good quality and has lots of purple color in various shades as well as yellow, blue, tan, cream, and balck.
There are several vugs; one of them is large, geode-like, and full of botryoidal chalcedony. There are pretty brecciations as well as healed and sealed fractures very common in this material.
This bertrandite sphere is fluorescent (neon green) and it has a beautiful polish.
This tiffany stone sphere is a beautiful and rare collector's tem.
Its approximate weight is 12.5 oz, and it has about 2.6" diameter (67 mm)
