Smithsonite is the rare mineral zic carbonate (ZnCO3).
This smithsonite ball is a darling. Dale made it and he did an outstanding job.
The sphere is translucent and pearly and has a great polish. It also has a pretty rainbow visible in the photo just above.
This smithsonite sphere is a rare collectors' item.
It is said that smithsonite "...provides energies conducive to pleasantness, charm, kindliness, and favorable outcomes.".
