Dale made this mookaite jasper sphere and his workmanship is outstanding. The material is also of excellent quality
Mookaite jasper comes from Australia and it could be any or all of the following minerals: chalcedony, jasper, opalite or chert. Also, it often comes with pockets of white powdery material. All these materials have different hardnesses making mookaite is a difficult stone to work with. Due to this variation in hardness, this sphere has some minor uneven feel to it.
This mookaite jasper sphere is a great collectors' item.
According to my reference, jasper "acts as a reminder that one is not here, on this physical plane, just for oneself, but is also here to bring joy and substance to others ..."
