2.2"D Spider Web Jasper Sphere
Spiderweb Ball - Oregon,
spj14
|
- This jasper
is so unusual not so much for the spider web patterns, which are
awesome, but the knobs, nooks, and crannies it has
throughout.
- Those
"irregularities" are caused by nodules embedded into the jasper and
when they pop out they leave a raw void behind.
- One can
avoid those rough looking voids when making cabs but not so easily
when making spheres because they are all over. Having said all
that, I think this jasper is wonderful and the nooks and crannies
give it a lot of character
- Dale made
this beautiful sphere and his workmanship is excellent.
