Amethyst Heart Purple Quartz Gemstone - So. Africa hr25

Here's a large and beautiful amethyst quartz heart.
This amethyst heart was made in Madagascar and it has a very nice shape, great purple color, and wonderful polish.
There are healed fractures and minor surface imperfections very common in quartz. The reddish color is due to iron oxide not uncommon in quartz.
It is said, that, in addition to its many metaphysical and healing properties, amethyst is a good stone for meditation.
Amethyst is the birthstone for February.
The photos were taken outdoors in sunlight and color variations from the actual stone are possible.
Approximate size: 2.8" wide, 1.2" thick
Approximate weight: 7 oz
