Here's a blue sapphire, blue corundum, sphere.
This sapphire sphere is gemmy, has a wonderful blue color, and a great polish. There are fractures, visible in the photos, and very common in crystal balls.
This sapphire sphere was made in India and it is of excellent workmanship.
It is said that, in addition to many other properties, sapphire "...can be used to rid one of unwanted thoughts and to bring joy and peace of mind...."
