  Here's an outstanding fossil coral sphere from So. Dakota. The sphere is large, very nicely agatized, colorful, and has some amazing patterns that remind us of horn coral. The shape of horn coral is a give away but the rough rock that resulted in this sphere had a very uneven shape. Dale, made the sphere and he did a great job. The sphere has an excellent polish. There are healed fractures and som minor porosity on one "pole". There is also a white quartz fortification agate with a small vug in the center. This fossil coral sphere is gorgeous and an outstanding collectors' item!
