• This is a beautiful andradite garnet crystal from the Kayes region in the republic of Mali. Where is Mali? Good question! Mali is in Western Africa.
• The color of this garnet is sweet brown, it is large and has many smaller crystals on one side. There is some damage on one side.
• In general, and according to my source, garnets are said to be very rich in metaphysical and healing properties. Garnet is considered the "stone of health" and "the stone of Commitment". There are many types of garnets, and each type has special properties attributed to it. Andradite is said to enhance male* qualities such as strength, stamina, and courage.
