Description:

Dale made this outstanding Brazilian kyanite sphere.
The workmanship and quality of the material are both excellent and the sphere has a great polish. Kyanite is a very difficult material to work with and it takes care and skill to make a sphere of this quality. The difficulty comes from the directionality of the hardness of this material; i.e. the hardness is different depending on whether cutting across the crystal or lengthwise.
This kyanite sphere is full of beautiful blue and chatoyant crystals in quartz and it is a rare collector's item.
In addition to its many other properties, it is said that kyanite "facilitates meditation" and "it provides for balancint the yin-yang energies"
