sphere has a slight and pleasant uneven feel to it because of the
difference in hardness of the materials involved i.e. clay, and
hematite. Hematite is responsible for most of the colors in the
indian paint rock as well as the dark lines (and chunks) which
shine very nicely. There is also some porosity mostly in the bands
with the hematite. There is a great variety of patterns and colors
in this awesome sphere and it is a real pleasure to hold and
admire.
